It is with the deepest sadness that the family of Bevin Fagan announce that he passed over on Wednesday 2nd April 2008.  Bevin also known as ‘Bagga Matumbi, and ‘Running Water, will be remembered by his family, which includes his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his own father.

Bevin was a founder member of Matumbi and a prolific songwriter.  His contribution to British Reggae and the British music industry has been an inspiration to many.  He leaves a legacy of musical history.  Love goes out to all who have been touched by a man for whom music was his life. 

Thanks, respects and celebration for his life will be held on Tuesday 22nd April at 11.30am at Mallinson Road Church, Battersea, which was founded by his father the Reverend Dr Vincent G Fagan in 1962.
